Fur Elise is a fine piece, but overall Beethoven is overrated.

Fur Elise is a fine piece, but overall Beethoven is overrated.

I guess it's a matter of taste, I've always found many of his works to be beautiful.  But some are better than others, for example I am more partial to his piano sonatas and certain of his symphonies than anything else.  Of course I've never listened to his whole canon.
